LT 230 Quad Runner / Quad Sport problems!

well the idle speed adjustment shouldnt be 2 turns out. it should be so that theres about 1/16" to 1/8" slide opening at idle.
only the idle mixture screw should be 2 turns out, and thats just an initial setting. try only 1 turn out and see if that helps. if the pilot circuit is still lean and it wont start, youre probably going to need to give it some good throttle while cranking. and keep in mind the choke isnt effective unless the throttle's closed and providing high engine vacuum to the pilot circuit.
once you have it sort-of running, in all honesty, the best way to get it tuned in is just to "play around" with the screws and see what happens, no joke haha!
good luck

FIXED!
The quad didnt run at all before (probably a clogged jet or something) so what happened was I rebuilt everything and put it back on and it would run, but ran like crap.
What happened was, in the process of putting all the new fittings in, either me or my dad overtightened the little fuel mix idle screw and broke the tip off!
Well after about 2 hours of drilling the little leftover needle out with a bit, I got most of it out, put the original back in and made sure not to overtighten it.
Fired it back up and it runs absolutely flawless now! Moving the main idle screw is now dramatic with change like it was before. YAY!
Thanks to everyone that helped here, I think I will hang around this forum now

I have a Suzuki Lt 230 and the motor is junk. I was wondering if I could get a Dr 350 motor to fit on the frame. Mainly I'm wondering would it have to be fabed or would it bolt right up? the Dr 350 is a 2006 model that the frame got totaled and the Lt 230 frame is a 1986.
