lt80 is it possible oil pump injects to much oil

Unhappy lt80 is it possible oil pump injects to much oil

my kids lt80 will not start and oil is coming out of the exhaust.is it possible pump is injecting to much oil? when trying to start,it turns over once or twince then the starter stops.battery voltage is 12.45 please help

Fuel is leaking by and filling your motor. Remove the spark plug and turn motor over till fuel is out of cylinder (please use a rag to catch the fuel). Full throttle till it cleans out and runs.
You should::Clean the carb making sure the float needle/seat area is clean.
A $3 inline fuel shut-off helps.

too much oil is better than no oil, haha, I'm a firm believer in blocking off oil injection and running mix gas on pretty much all the 2 strokes i've ever owned, sleds, quads, etc

how is that done? what mix do i use,can i just use regular 2 cycle oil/gas mix?

yeah someone on here should have an idea of what type of mixture you would use , but you can use the same oil that you put in your injection reservoir and just mix it in the gas at whatever amount necessary,

To remove the injection::
remove the clutch cover and pull off the lil black plastic thing off the crankshaft that drives the pump. then you plug the oil line to the carb.
Run a good synthetic oil at 32:1
Some oils are for injection only.
I'd fix the original problem first.
