I'm looking at a used White Bros E-Series slip on for my 06 DVX and was curious if the pipes changed at all for the newer models being they had some slight motor updates. Anyone know? Also, could the E-Series pass a 94dB test at half throttle, 20 inches from the outlet?

I know that White Bros went out of business, but I've got an older E Series on one of my quads.

You can add/remove disks to make it a little louder/quieter and to help tune it a bit.

Mine is louder than 94 I'm sure, but probably might sneak by a 98 rating by adjusting the disks.

Also check the weld where the tube goes into the silencer itself. Mine broke and had to have it re-welded.

 

Hopefully mine is all set and ready to go as is. I'm going to chat up the MI-DNR today about the rules and stuff, see if there are any loop holes and where I can find a rectangular flag for the wheeler! Nobody has them!

If worst comes to worst, I found a guy on Craigs with a stock pipe. I actually asked him if I could rent it for the week. lol Bet that would be a first.
