I have an old 1984 alt125 three wheeler that runs great but would like a little more power out of it. i am putting the motor onto a off road go kart frame. What can i do to make it quicker? I was looking for intakes and exhausts online but couldnt find any. I may make something. Also is it worth changing the sprocket and which sprocket should i run. I dont want to loose much/any torque because it will be climbing alot of hills.

 

finding performace parts for that motor is gonna be tricky. you may wanna try a slightly bigger carb and maybe advancing the timing a little if its adjustable. and im sure you could rig up some sort of better flowing exhaust.

for the gearing, what size tires are you gonna be running?
