I just got an 87 Suzuki LT230 and don't know anything about it.Any and all info will help.Things to look out for/hop ups/ect.What is that little handel for.I was told it's for compression.

 

The little hanle is for compression release to make it easier to kick start. And there are lots of mods and info on the lt230 in the lt230s help thread and plenty of guys to help you with it .

 

hey look in the monster sized lt230 thread and really you should read the first 50 pages or so at a minimum. its chock full of valuable 230 info.

and then in the last few pages or so i went over a plethora of mods you can do.
