I have ohmed everything on this quad everything ohms out like it should other than the coil it is supposed to ohm at 10-25k ohms and it ohms at 8.7k well i have the wires out of the left crankcase pluged into the cdi then the coil pluged into the cdi box, That is it. None of the grounds, lights, switches, nothing else. well i had one prong from my ohm meter on the + on top the coil and the other in where the spark plug attaches to the coil. my finger was touching the + and - as i kicked it over it shocked the shyt outta me. I then pluged the spark plug in and put it up to the fins and kicked it over it sparked!!! well i tried it again and no spark but it still shocks me at the + and - ??????????????????????

 

make sure your plug cap isnt loose or defective
