Default '04 Arctic Cat W/ Suzuki engine won't start

I have a '04 Arctic Cat 500 auto 4x4 (Suzuki engine with about 400 miles and 80 or so hours) that will not start...I replaced the plug a few months ago and it is clean...I can get to it run with a squirt of starter fluid directly into the carb, but it runs for about 10-15 seconds and then stalls (I've done this about 3 times)...I don't want to continue to use starter fluid, and have something go wrong in the cylinder from that...it does sit for periods of time....any suggestions? THANKS!!

The carburetor is stopped up. Remove, disassemble, and clean thoroughly with carb cleaner. You will probably have to replace the jets, dealer should have a kit.

Not hard at all. Get organized before you start. Cover your worktable with a high visibility cover, so you can see dropped small parts. Buy plastic drinking cups and a felt marker to store the screws in, and the order you removed them. Write down on note pad.

Have good lighting, be VERY patient, and save the beer till finished.

does your bike have the automatic choke? if so, there's an over ride lever by the carb you can use to prime

Also, dont put any rubber parts in the carb cleaner, they will be twice the size when you put your carb back together.
