Help With 86 LTF230-G Rear Axle

I hope thats the right one as I already paid for it. It looks right. I was wondering what the heck happened to this thing too. Someone really messed it up. Only other issue might be front wheel bearings. Hopefuly with my manual I can take the old rear end off and put the new one on pretty easy!!!

I think it's probably reasonable to assume that the bearings and seals for ALL of your drivetrain and suspension parts need inspection and/or replacement

Hey,
Your probably right. What would I need to inspect that im not replacing. I bought an entire rear end assemble. Is there anything outside the rear drive assembly that I should look at??

good to hear you went thru with things! keep us updated with how things turn out...

and as far as the parts to look over before you install it, im not really sure. probably just bearings and seals...
