does any one know whether i can do a valve adjustment on a 1985 suzuki quad sport with the engine togather? i mean by just taking the valve adjustment caps off with out having to pull the stator cover? any help would be apprieciated....thanks 4wheeler dude

 

valves arnt under the stator cover, theyre on top of the head. And yes, you adjust them with the engine in tact. Just pull the access covers and youre all set.

 

or do you mean the sight holes to line up TDC
