Joker...the shop is screwing you on that deal...but then they don't do tires as a mainstream business.
Discount tire will remove tires for $2.50 and mount them for $5 (each tire) at least here in Fort Worth they will. (which is well worth it in saving time and energy)
Call around to a tire place and save driving around

I live in upstate New York(Troy) and theres not to many shops around here. The few that there are wont do your tires if u didnt buy them from them. Is anyone familiar with upstate new york at all, Has anyone heard of a 2000 acre terrain park in Duanesburg, NY? I read an article in I think ATV Action about it. Its 200 bucks a year to become a member ,and you have freerange on the 2000 acres. Duanseburg is only about an hour away, I was wonderin if anyone heard of this place before?

Nice to hear there is someone else from this area on here! I'm in Binghamton though. Sounds interesting, too bad its so far away from me. I know where there is 3000+ acres of stateland to ride on, filled with state snowmobile trails. I've heard that they don't allow quads though for some reason? Makes no sense that the snowmobiles can go rip it up all winter, but not us in the summer.......

R u talking about Grafton State Park, they let snowmobiles ride all winter but not quads or dirtbikes in the summer. I have a friend that lives up that way and we still hit the trails. We havn't had a problem yet but then again we dont stop if there might be a problem...lol. Most of what we end up riding is power lines, but thats gettin old. A buddy of mine has a clay track in clifton park about 5 acres with all sort of jumps, tabletops, mud pits and a few trails but even that gets old.

No this is just state game land about 20min from my house. It's connected to the state snowmobile trails, which you can get on and ride from here allthe way to the adirondackls if you wanted. From what I hear, if they catch you up there, they will take your quad and everything. I just don't get what the difference is between quads and snowmobiles? It's a pretty heavily hunted area though, so mabie they figure more people are out in the summer hunting than winter and they dont want the noise scaring off the prey, or the liability if someone was to get shot/hurt.

I would hazard a guess that riding a snowmobile on an established snow-covered trail doesn't create the damage and erosion that an ATV causes, especially if the ATV riders go off trail like so many folks will do
