ok i have a 99 300 KQ the centrifical clutch was slipping at low speeds so i removed a good used clutch from another bike.and put in this one.after i installed it, i started the bike up and put it in gear and it killed the engine. i can hold the brakes and put it in slow and usually it will go into gear o.k it seems to be shifting fine while riding, it just seems like sometimes the clutch wont disengage. i had it idling in gear with the parking brake on and all of a sudden, it started trying to move and choked itself down and killed the engine. does anyone have any ideas on this one ? or does it sound like something that may straighten itself out ? also what would happen if i put the one way bearing in backwards.. sorry for all of the questions, but i am really lost on this one.
