Son has owned LT80 since December and has run perfectly. Recently left for about a month - started as normal ran around wet field for about 5 mins and then stalled on tickover - difficult to start - ran fine and then stalled again on tickover. This time it would not start again. Got spark but smells like its flooding when turning over. Have tried with and without choke/throttle. Cleaned plug which seems dry when checked.

Any ideas?

 

As no-one else is talking to me - I'll talk to myself!!

Put jump leads on, choke and full throttle - after 1 min she fired up - started everytime after that - so far!

Sorry, wasn't up at 3:39am to answer. :P
It is/was something in the carb. Better clean the carb anyways.

 

Thanks for that - I'm trying to avoid that job - if I'm honest. Haven't tried the bike today but hoping it'll start.
