If it's starting with starting fluid then it has to be a fuel problem, try changing your reeds and see what happens. Just be careful with 25yro bolts. Did you take the jets out to clean it?

I only got two out, the smallest one was stuck. If fuel than why does my throttle at 1/4 go crazy? Possibly carb? I can maybe buy a rebuild kit for like 20$. It comes with new jets. Like it's either full rev or no rev. Also there are two adjustments on the outside, one is smaller and one is larger, they are needles. One is for idle right? And the other?

Cause it's a 2 stroke. When you finally get fuel to it approx. 1/4 throttle that's about when it hits the powerband, probably feels like it wants to shoot out from under you, that's how they are. Once you get past the pilot jet, 1/4 throttle ( and into the needle jet ) it's getting fuel. If you didn't get the small pilot jet out I can almost guarantee it's clogged and that's the problem. If you get a rebuild kit it's gonna come with new jets but if you can't get it out then what's the use?

Yes my first 2 stroke lol. Im afraid to break it. And is it because it's not in gear that it feels like it's reving to much? I can see through the small jet though.

You see the jet on the right side just above the spring with the holes on the sides that's the pilot or slow jet. That's the one that needs to be spotless for the bike to run from idle to 1/4 throttle. Go ahead and get the rebuild kit then try to get that jet out and if you damage it then no big loss. Also the passage that it screws into needs to be spotless.

Ok i will give that a try. Without being engaged in gear (being in neutral i guess) Would 1/4 throttle rev up like it is running lean?
