Default Ltz400 Bore Kit Help.

I have a 2005 Suzuki Ltz400 and Im looking for a bbk about 440. What all would I have to do to get it done right, and what manufacture should I use?

Curtis Sparks or Yoshi.
The 400 not fast enough? Looking for more torque?

Sparks and Yoshi just going to cost you extra money. There are a few good kits out there that have everything you need. Cylinder, gaskets, piston. Bolt on and go. Check ebay or Advantage Cycle or Woodward. There are kits out there now for around 300 bucks.
That said it's a waste without other mods done first. What have you done to your quad already?

I agree. That's why I asked if it wasn't fast enough.
Suspension usually first IMO. Course, I'm presuming he has a pipe allready.

Sadley my 400 isn't powerfull enough. It power full enough right now that with my yoshimura pipe I beat the new 2011 Yfz450. But im looking to have It atleast run with the Predator 500 or the Raptor 660. I was thinking Wiseco, Cw, or Athena.Whats your calls on that, how's the deal for those. I have the rocky mountain catalog and the Wiseco has a BBk 440 and sleave for the Ltz400.

I bought a cheapie kit off Ebay for around $300 and it worked fine. It was a 435 kit with a cast piston though.

LOL spize. I'm a lil confused also. Maybe it's the rider. BAHAHAHA
My daughter ran a 480 Athena on her CRF450R motored quad with 0 problems.
The head bolts on a Z400 are of poor design (needed 1 more) so high cc's and comp can be tricky.
You guys racing in the woods or down the road?
In the woods you need suspension
Down the road you need port work (ie: raise the rpm's)

fwiw the yfz will beat both the Predator and the Raptor 660 and the Raptor 700.....in most cases.....and I don't even like Yamahas

LT, what kind of quad was the CRF motor stuffed into?
