Default stalling

I have a 1993 suzuki king quad 4x4 1100 miles. Runs great idles and goes. After riding for a while when I come to a complete stop, if I push the throttle slowly in first gear/reverse it sometimes will stall. It does not bog down when running. I had the carb cleaned. There was junk in it. Does the carb need to be rebuilt, replaced, cleaned again or soemthing else. thanks

Man I'm kinda having same problem with my 96 King Quad 4x4. It will rev all day in neutral and sound normal, the idle is crappy though and when I put it in 1st or reverse it will bogg/sputter then die in like 2 seconds. Starts right up constantly. I have a thread titled 96 King Quad Problems that I just posted on today and you can read up on the fix I thought I had Friday and put it back together this morning and it still don't run right?

I'm thinking it's the carb, it's got some trash in the dip tubes that go down in the bowl.....I had a similar problem and I had to run a blow torch file through those tubes to get the build up of matter out or those tubes, it fixed the problem.

If their is trash in the carb again, I would remove the tank and clean it out along with installing a fuel filter in line. When looking at some used quads, you wouldn't believe the mud and junk I seen in the fuel tanks. One even had some gravel in it.

Their is junk in the carb. I cleaned it out and it runs good. I would suggest to clean the carb and if it is still stalling I would rebuilt it. With the new gas it does a number on the carb.
