Default 1993 230e

Just bought this quad for 80 bucks, all it needed to run was a wiring harness, replaced that and it runs fine, except a little bit of smoke from the exhaust. I was wondering if maybe there was too much oil in it or upon looking over the engine i found a small hole in one of the cases letting oil leak out could any of these problems make it smoke or am i looking at something more serious?

I have a 93 230E.
I don't think a 'too full" of motor would leak out. I'd suspect a problem.
I'd guess that the case is cracked where leaking.?.?

a lil smoke in the exhaust could be leaky valve seals or it needs re-ringed. as for the tiny hole leaking oil, sandaround it clean it up and JB weld it and see if it holds. if it doesnt drain the oil and take the engine to a welding shop, if its a small hole they shouldnt charge too much to spot weld the hole shut.
