Default lt230s information

Hello, I am new to the quadsport and don't know too much about it. As you all know winter is coming alonmg soon and here in Illinois we usually have some snow. So I was wondering how the lt230s rides in snow? I've only had mine since early spring so I've never got to ride it in snow. I also would like to know what the cheapest exhaust system is for the 1988 lt230s. I am aware of the DG RCM2 for around 150 dollar range. I have very badly scratched plastics as well, and would like to know where the cheapest set of plastics are able to be bought. I've calculated that it would cost around $450 all around for front rear and hood plastics.

they are a bomb in the snow, just dont roll it! i just rebuilt mine. unless ebay has one cheaper, a dg is the cheapest. rockymountainatvmc.com and denniskirk.com have them and the plastics. i bought most of my parts from them. best of luck

www.rockymountainatvmc.com has the best deal and free shippping on orders over $99.

i used to ride wheelies across a frozen lake with mine. and i even ice raced with it. i could dust 350 warriors 200 blasters and a few z400's on the ice. but then again i wasnt riding a stock lt230s either but even in its stock form a 230 can out perform a newer quad, not in a major way but still make them look bad. it all comes down to you the rider and how well you know your 230. i used to put 14 hours a weekend on mine and when work was slow about 6-7 hours a week. by the time summer was over there wasnt nothing i couldnt do on my 230.
