Default 1987 ltf 250 ?

Hi,

Suzuki quad runner LTF 250cc 1987. Im not sure that this is correct. The people selling, brought a LT 230 Quadrunner 1985 last October. I need to travel 6 hours to view & not real sure what it should look like. Dose 1987 have twin head lights ?
Cheers

Suzuki LTF4WD LTF250 LT-F4WD LT-F250 LT-4WD LT4WD Quad 4x4 2x4 Quadrunner
this is the ltf250. they have a good engine. we have one. it can out pull a 300 4x4 bayou easily with good tires on it. the rear suspension isnt the best design and its pretty stiff but a good machine.

your bike looks like the one on this manual.

the bike on the manual has no rear suspension, shaft drive, electric start, and front "shocks" (which are really a joke). BUT that is one tough little atv. the engine in those runs forever. we used to have one for around the cattle. not the best riding thing but tough as nails.

Thank You Twin_Stacks, the info you've given is excellent, I want the bike to get to good fishing spots, over rocks & river shingle. Its probably not the best option for that.

no problem man. it all depends on what kind of ride is acceptable and how much youll be carrying. its got plenty of grunt and its tough but it will be a rough ride. if all youre looking for is a quad to beat down a trail to a spot and you have a good back and the price is right, then go for it. that being said, a 220 bayou is a wonderful bike. i know there are a lot of people that dont like those but the ride theyll give you wouldnt crack an egg. soft as can be. and theyve been making them for a long time so they are plentiful. ive really punished mine and it starts as fast as my lt.
