Default Top end rebuild $$?

We are running the dog poop out of this little lt80 we picked up recently and the kids are having a blast on it! It's holding pretty good ont he trails and small tracks but It's burning oil (constant blue smoke) so I know it's needing some work, it's damn near twenty years old! (1996). I plan on doing the top end at the end of summer if the thing doesn't poop out on us any sooner. At that point I'll be rebuilding the head as well. Any recommendations on quality lt80 parts places? What can I expect to spend for a complete top end rebuild kit for this little tank? I'll be doing the work....scratch that, my 12 yr old will be doing the work while being closely supervised.

There is nothiong to do to the head.
You will need to have the cylinder bored.
You'll get approx $130 into the top end rebuild.

Piston + ring will be close to $100, gasket set might be $40. Deglazing/honing the cylinders would be recommended.

Is it worn out or is the oil injector pushing too much oil thru it. I may be mistaken but are not here in central Calif? If so contact me and I will tell some good places to go here.

"or is the oil injector pushing too much oil thru it."
That'd be a first.
