It does have a stock filter that I have just cleaned and oiled. After it cools down and sets for several hours it will fire up quickly and as long as I keep the rpms up I can keep it running....Its not running good enough to tell if the choke is making much difference.

With a magnifing glass I looked over the diaphram and cant see any holes.

Have you checked the intake boot for any cracks or tears? Did the kit come with a different size main jet than what was in the carb to start with?

I was able to load pics in my photos on here so if you can get to them you will be able to follow what im saying.

My neele is not the same as the pic I have on here...there are no notches or e-clip its just smooth.

I did replace all jets that came with kit and I could not tell any difference in sizes with what I changed out.

The pics of the carb show the carg that I have

So you didnt have an adjustable needle jet in repair kit?....Guess you can get some shims washers an shim up needle jet to richen up like the photo on the left says.....maybe do .020 thousand first let us know how it changed or if it did.. Or you could half block the air snorkel to see if it richen up mixture enuff or made worse.....Touch base with us here....
