universal shocks?

Default universal shocks?

i need a rear shock for my 92 lt23e quadrunner, ive looked on ebay and found new ones that fit quadsports and surrounding years but will they still fit? they look like the ones i have on mine. i dont mind a little fab work if i need to!

It's best to find a exact match for your machine. I do think that all years 230E's shocks would work.
Modding suspension lengths and angles don't work out well.
Maybe check out a parts fiche online and check part numbers.

If you cut the top rear mount, you can drill a new hole that is higher and run a taller shock or else have the quad sit lower.

I can't say if the sport shocks are exactly the same, but they could be. Either way, they're both not very good.

ya thats the true but i know one thing about these atvs is there TOUGH!!!! very tough. lol my dad rode this bike for years and got passed down to me and still runs strong

I showed you picks of that engine with metal in it. That guy beat the snot out of that quad for years. It leaked oil badly and he never changed the oil or even cared much to add oil. It ran dry mostly carrying his 250lb *** up n down mountains. At one point it had no compression at all. The only bad thing I can say about these engines is they smoke.

ya they do lol but hell i check the oil religiously and i run goood stuff in it so i know itll be ok even with riding it hard
