Default 1992 LT230E Electrical Slim-Down

This was my 1st atv. I bought it when I was 13 and now I'm 27. This thing has been abused and keeps going. Last year, I was welding the rear swing arm back together and it wouldn't start again. I figured i messed up something electrically. Today I decides to get it running again so I ordered a new CID box or whatever the thing in the front is. I was getting enough spark to feel in my hand but not enough to create a spark with a new plug. Is that box in the front the culprit?

Also, while I'm waiting for that to show up I'll be reducing my wiring harness to only what is needed to keep the engine on. For the last 5 years, this thing has been running with no battery and random broken wires all over it. Starter motor was removed after the gear pin somehow broke. Pull start broke off years ago so it's push start only now. No headlight or tail lights. It has no plastic at all and only 1 next bar left. It's pretty funny looking.

I was wondering if anyone could let me know how to figure out what wires I can cut out and keep it running (if you can believe it still runs now). The only button I'd like to keep is the kill switch, but if that's too much wiring, I'll put my own kill switch in or stall it somehow.

Any help is much appreciated. So far I've removed the wires that used to feed the headlights down to their nearest splice. Fuses are gone and all battery wiring because these were all broken before this.
