The Auto Eiger/400 King Quad has a very low “high” gear ratio, I suspect that it is the variator as the manual version’s axle ratios are OK. They do seem to vary, I’ve just come across one that seems particularly slow. With the Vinson and 450 to 750 King Quads the ratio is spot on but you seem to grind away in high as if you were in the low box on the 400 auto unless you rev it hard. Has anyone found heavier rollers or a lighter driven pulley spring for the 400?
