Default Please help with LT80 starting problem

Hi all, I came across this forum while trying to search for answers to some problems I'm having with my son's LT80. I'm no mechanic so I apologize in advance for any crazy sounding questions. We had the top end rebuilt and a new starter put on my sons 80 last year. It sat for a few months and a couple of weeks ago I went out, drained the gas and put a new spark plug in it and it fired right up and ran for an hour or so but recently while riding it tripped the breaker under the seat. I pushed the button to reset it and now it will turn over fine (very fast) but wont start. No compression. I feel like it's an electrical problem but not sure. Any help would greatly be appreciated. Thanks

Might pull plug out put back in cap and touch plug to tranny cover and turn engine over to verify spark. While plug is out put finger over plug hole to see if any compression at all to see if piston ring is broke for a starting point.
