hey folks, got a 2015 KQ400asi. I'm ln florida, rains everyother day. my barn is a ways from the house so I leave the KQ outside most of the time (got a bad hip). is leaving it out in the elements a problem?

 

The sun and rain will cause it to deteriorate much quicker, why not just throw a cover over it to keep the elements off it. I had a couple covers made at a truck (semi) cover place that were great and tough as nails. Cost was not that bad, around 200 for each but extremely heavy duty! I used to trailer with them on the machines and never showed any sign of wear. Even a cheap water repellent cover would be better than nothing.

 

Suzuki electrics are not all that waterproof, and handlebar switches can get water in them if left outside. Also the choke lever turns on the bars and rusts fast.

 

I though the rain helps clean it? The sun is worst for the seat and sun fading.

 

Just do a search for ATV covers. I got a nice one for my Arctic Cat for around $50, camo.
