Yeah...pull carb/exhaust/head then cylinder. What's your experience level? If you need step by step let us know...

Good with cars but not much with atv but I can probably figure most out. I will let y'all know. I really appreciate all the help. Hopefully I don't find anything to bad. I will take some pics when I get it apart.

Generally it's just worn rings...my suggestion would be to measure bore to make sure it can handle another size up piston, get next up piston/rings/upper needle bearing and bring cylinder to local machine shop to have it bored for the piston. I know LT80 does the 80cc LTs, I'd guess he does the 50's as well...

Ok I put new rings and gaskets on. Still the same. Compression is up now so it should start. Has fire still but looks weak still. Will not even fire off with starting fluid. Buddy tells me just replace the CDI Coil. I'm lost what to do. Guess I will spend the money and replace the coil.

Anyone know best place to buy one.

Subd for info...

I own the exact machine for my son, only it's in the 2003 Kawi variety (exact machine built by Suzuki, just with green plastic). Mine runs great, but I'm always looking for info to stay ahead of any potential issues.

I'll say this, the spark on mine doesn't look all that impressive either, but she fires right up! I've been through everything on mine except the case and head (carb, fuel tank, fuel lines, oil, chain and sprockets, greased).

I only wish the little guy had a tab more oomph.

Good luck with yours, your grandkid(s) will love it!!

What is compression up to? You should've done a complete top end, rings probably wasn't enough with 55 psi previously. Especially if there was any scratches in the wall.
