Hi there,

I've got 2 small questions

2) I dismounted my front differential for repairs, and would like to know how much torque I should put on the center bolt that attaches the drive shaft to it ?

That's good to be able to do the work yourself Norm but you didn't tell us what kind of quad you have? If you have a King Quad, the manual for year '99 says to add thread lock, then tighten the nut to 87lbs. That's the "front drive bevel gear, not to be confused with the right or left side gears. Is that clear? Somebody help me explain.

woooooooooops ...

Suzuki quadrunner 500 1998, silly me !

BTW the thread lock is inside the differential, because the only thing I see outside of it is a medium size bolt with a washer under. I've tried to tighten it up, but it seems to give more resistance to the differential bearing.
