Does anyone know any secrets for pulling the stator cover on a 05 LTA- 700X King Quad. I've got all the bolts loose but can't get the cover to break loose?

 

Have you removed the pull start mechanism completely? I may be confusing it with the 400KQ, but there is a bigger bolt in the middle of the cover on one of them. I give the cover a light tap with a long drift, from the other side of the bike, on that bit that sticks out with alternator wires coming from it. This usually breaks the gasket's hold.
