New to the forum, and have enjoyed reading about people's experiences. I have an issue of my own with my 1998 suzuki ltf 500 quadrunner. After buying it off New Zealands 'Trademe' site I used it for duck hunting and realised there was something wrong as it only idled properly on full choke. My friend then checked the air filter and it had disintegrated and the pipe into the air box wasn't even connected. He gave the carby a clean reattached everything and now it goes mint except for one thing...cold start it squeals really high pitch for about a minute but only at low rpm then nothing. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has had the same thing happen to them, or if you know what may be the issue.
