Default lt80 cdi

I read online that the stock cdi "limits" the rpm to keep the speed down on the little lt. Is this actually true or not? Has anyone tried to use a different cdi? or are there performance cdi's out there? Does anyone know what the stock cdi curve looks like?

There is no rev limiter on LT80's.

Prolly not for a stock motor. I advance the timing a smidge when I build my National motor.
