parking brake lever stuck on 2002 suzuki vinson

i have disconnected the shifter at rear end to get out of park but the shift lever will not shift out of park

If you are referring to the lever beside the tank, feel underneath the plastic for the end of the lever. The forward/reverse part will not be quite central, so the end of the lever can't move over to engage it. Move this bit into the middle, so the lever can get out of park.
