You need a starter. I've bought a few China starters. 2 have been bad. Usually not a problem tho.
Pull starts are nice at times.
I think you may need a new battery also.

The battery might be weak. I just tried the starter off of my truck battery and it turned faster than off of the two small batteries I have. I hooked the starter back up but not installed and tried to jump it off my side by side and it spun alittle faster with no load. Then installed the starter and it wouldnt turn fast under load when trying to jump it.

Lt80 how many have you bought that were good? These require a 12v 4 ah battery? Or is there a better one. I also need a new air filter. Oiled or dry? Thanks everyone.

Oil the filter.

I brought the starter to a bike shop and they said it was noise but turned fast enough . Said I needed a battery. I got a new one battery and it does the same thing, turns alittle then pops the back breaker.

Maybe run a extra ground from frame to motor. If that don't do it, get a starter. IMO starters don't make noise.

I put a new starter and battery in. It turns over great but it wont start. I pulled the carb and cleaned it out. Pulled the jet and the small other one.is that all? Is there suppose to be a gasket between the carb and the plastic spacer and the the other side of the spacer to the motor? I know there is a o ring in there. I never checked the reeds. Can they be cleaned? Would either of those stop it from starting. Checked the spark and ther is spark. I'm not sure if these have a big spark or not. The plug was wet. I cant seem to even get it to sputter??

when I put the petcock valve to prime the fuel flows fast when the line isnt on the motor. Slower when in run and res. Can I drain the little fuel in the tank from the valve? I was also able to open the bowl screw and get fuel through there.

how does the oil injection hose come off the carb?

If this machine has an oil injection carburetor with a separate oil tank (you do not pre-mix the fuel) I have seen people run the oil tank dry and it will lock it up due to lack of lubrication. I would check the bore with a bore scope and see if the cylinder is scored up.
