My guess would be the starter solenoid, check those red and red/white wires that go to it, if the original plug-in set up has been replaced with normal spade connectors, they could be on the wrong terminals.

Solenoid on an LT80 is a car style black box relay right next to the battery, four spade connectors on it. I think the spades are held in a plastic plug, but sometimes people remove the plug and fit four separate spades which you can get wrong, unless you know which way to fit them.
Easy way to check if the start button is stuck, the starter will only run if the brake is on as well.
