If you have to ask this is not the Quad for you. King Quads are not ultra high speed cruisers. What they are is probably the best utility quad ever built.

I agree with you Bill the King is a great off-road utility bike, now if it just had some suspension, better tires, shift indicator, disc brakes, of course that would make it a Cat.

King Quad's top speed is right in the ballpark with the other 4WD utilities. Some big bore quads aren't a whole lot faster. I believe it is faster than the honda 300 4wd, and an old article I have even says the honda felt underpowered compared to the KQ.

It wouldn't be a cat till they put a plastic skidplate on it.

 

My king does around 45-50mph. Keep in mind the top speed of this bike is a con. Look at the pros on it. Its great for other things like plowing, towing, yard work, trails, mud and hills. I am happy with it. But if your looking for speed dont get this quad.

 

Now how come they dont call them black jackets???

 

Zukimoto; Not sure if the plastic skid is a + or a -. After 2000miles it seems tough enough, 1 thing for sure when you drag bottom over a stone it's sure a lot less violent sounding than dragging a steel 1 over it!! OH YAH, I guess we must thank robhouston on all his grammer corrections.
