You probly need a new CDi there $200 its either that or you shered the woodruff key, Its back firering because your timing is off. Did you put new piston and rings in to? Because my piston had a hole in it and it did the same thing.

Do you normally store your bike outside? This KILLS bikes. The cdi box maybe an issue, but it is usually the last to go. I would check the coil and plug wire first, then I would check the magneto and the coils behind it as well as the pick up. I don't believe that morining dew would have caused a problem in the other wiring but I would go through it and use electrical grease on all the plug in's before you hit some big puddles. One thing that may have occured during your 15 minute test run is that you vibrated a connection loose, I write all of this assuming that the test start up went well. If all of this is fine then have the local shop test your cdi box and look at your timing, I have seen a few bike that are 180 degrees out after a rebuild.

You sheared your woodruff key. Take the side cover off and remove the flywheel. You will see the problem immediately.
