My son has a 90 quadsport80. the starter went on it. I was woundering if anyone had or knows if they make a pullstart bolt on for this machine. Or if they know where i could get a used starter for it at. I called the dealership but they want 375 for a newone. Any suggestion would be greatfully apreciated.

The pullstart is expensive too! Plus its plastic, I dont recommend it. I never put it on my sons 80 but I have seen a lot of them break.

i dont have a prob w/the pullstarts, one common problem is that ppl dont use the gasket and the plastic gear is mis-aligned thus wearing the plastic gear prematurely
i may have a starter or 2 around, if you are interested email me

Take the starter off the bike, and if you can take the starter apart get some electronic cleaner spray, radio shack or somewhere like that, I have had experience with starters getting moisture in them and quit working.

Good Luck.

Check the adds in Dirt wheels. I think there's a company that either rebuilds starters or sells rebuilt ones.
