i really really really want an R but around here all the ones that i would consider buying are all way too much. there is a mint 87 that i could buy maybe, but i'm really looking for an 88 or 89. in fact thats the only years i want. i went through a tecate 4 stage a while ago where i really wanted one. i still would love to have one but there aren't any for sale around here anymore. last year i looked at a cycle trader and there were like 6 of em in there! i don't remember how much though. i also think it would rule to have a zilla but i'm gonna race and i doubt i'm gonna be able to do good if i start out racing an LT500. i also went through a banshee stage a while ago btu i don't want one anymore. they don't suit my riding style (racing and trails) very well. i like a lot of lowend (but i DON'T want a four stroke). i know zillas are good for that but once again i don't want to have to race a 500.there are a couple really nice ones for sale around here for a fair price though. all the banshees are at least 3500 too. all the R's are old, or beat up, or too expensive, or all three. so i guess i'm going to make a compromise by getting a LT250. if i could have anything though it would be an R.

ps brokemybanshee- i agree, tecates are sweet lookin! not the white ones though.

better than a quad. save your money and when you get your drivers license buy a nice car. and save and get a quad later

well considering we're restoring my dads 1970 shelby GT500 any week now i'm sure i'll have something to drive...i really do need a car though. theres a REALLY nice jeep all pimped out with muddin stuff and chrome down the street from me...5000 obo...man it sure is nice. but then again...my most wanted car is a newer mustang (1999- ) convertable GT in yellow. purrrrrdy but i'm gonna make money racing my quad (i hope). i know it won't be much but it'll get me gas money to drive the shelby

lol the trunk on that car is so tiny...and since the exhaust pipes come right out the middle of the back end theres no place for a hitch either...i'll have to strap it onto the top of the trunk lol. anyways u can go to my yahoo photo album and check out the pics of the shelby...this pics were taken before i was born though...back when the car was in almost perfect condition.
