does anyone know the top speed of the lt230 quadsport(with a pipe or without).and i would like some ides of modifications o add to it.thanks

 

I had one it went like 45-50mph or so ......there is a big bore for that motor

 

stock w/ 12-41 gearing is about 45-48 mph. with a pipe you will be able to hold that 48, and get it to rev higher (maybe) so close to 50. with a pipe and a k&n filter, it pulls a 12-39 (57mph)really well

 

i just changed to a 13-36 gearing and that thing flies! and i still got torque to wheelie all the way through 5th gear

 

Lt 230 racer, u can actually pull a 13-36 gearing, u must be doing about 80.

 

well, i think mine was all stock, still not sure about the carb, engine, or gearing, but i beat a 1997 blaster, and was dead even with a 2001 300EX.

 

Need help before i burn this lt 230s. It vibrates all the time baaadddd. Checked the mounts they are fine . This happenes when you give it gas it does not put all the power to the ground it vibrates on the handlebars on the seat the whole fn thing . I put a new clutch new fenders , rear shock,chain swing arm bearings, axle bearings ,2 extra motors and rolling frame .alot of money. I hate this thing. Help!!!

 

im having spark problems and think i need a cdi can somone help me out besides ebay or no how to check one i need some help i no the coil is good

 

CDI's hardly ever fail. its usually in the stator assembly. sometimes it also can be the coil mounted on the front of the frame.
