Well, I found a project quad. I'll be picking it up around Friday. Heres a pic.

From what I know it has no neutral and the engine has no compression. Apparently neutral had been gone for a long time and then the engine took a digger so thats good news I guess. Hopefully the bottom end isnt trash.

Your pic link is not workin dude, there is nothing on the site except for and angelfire pic!

Sounds like you got you a good project to work on, maybe you won't have to rebuild the bottom completely!

How is the chassis and plastic on it?

By the way, not tryin to be nosy or anything, just wonderin how much you got the project quad for?

Good Luck on your project dude, keep us posted and up to date!

I'll work on the pic, sorry about that. I paying $600 for it. The chassis and swingarm are supposed to be in great shape, the seat cover is torn and from the pic I really cant tell what the plastic looks like, I'll be getting new plastic and a seat cover anyways. I'm trying to find someone that can chrome the chassis down in Mexico nice and cheap and then have it powder coated the same color as my Mustang (candie apple burnt orange). It should look like it was anodized when its completed.

My first priority is to get it running great for Glamis this Thanks Giving (might go up there a few times until then too). If the funds permit I'll do the chassis as well.

Okay, picked up last night. Man, its in rough shape, lol. The frame looks great, no cracks or dents and surprisingly it doesnt look to bad underneath either. I checked out the swingarm and unfortuneatly it is cracked on the bottom of the rear bearing carrier. I was able to get for $500 instead of $600 due to the swingarms condition.

He didnt have the title to it which didnt really surprise me, do you know how to go about getting a title for them?
