You might want to check the laws, in most states it is completely LEGAL to cross ANY highway, as long as you go straight across the road.

You should find out somehow, and when you find out that you are doing nothing wrong, you can slap this law in the officers face.

Before you going building a ramp drive to your local county court house and talk to someone about getting permission to cross the road between your land. They will more than likely issue you some sort of statement allowing it. Then when you see him sitting there calmly drive out of your drive way, wave at him as you are crossing. He is going to come up all tough and start his lecture until you pull out the permission from your county. Tell him to stuff it or you are going to file a complaint of harrasement against him. That will solve all your troubles instead of breaking your neck trying to jump the road plus it will make him feel about 10in tall.
