and where are you guys buying your after market parts?

and the last question my friend is going to look at an 88lt250r is there anything we should look at? problem areas?
thanks

Check the frame and swingarm for cracks, especially up front at the shock mounts. There are still aftermarket and OEM parts for them, just look.

evhwg, RPM Motorsports is the way to go for for bearing/seals they are 1/3 the price of OEM parts and they last alot longer. You can call them at (928)771-9363.
Also try Nacs Raciing (www.nacracing.com) for suspension and chassis gear.
Hopes this helps.

Stock parts......look up parts numbers and/or buy on Bike bandit And also Yamaha-Suzuki of Arizona

Aftermarket....... Dennis Kirk
Rockymountain ATV
And numerous other places that i don't have time to list right now....lol

Also if ur lookin for some real good deals go to Ebay and type in "Quadracer", or "LT250R", make different combinations....they have a crapload of parts on there right now !

Good Luck brah

thanks guys for the responses.
but i called and asked if the frame has been cracked and he said once, then as i kept talking i said im going to look at it good i restored quads before then it went to maybe its been welded a couple times. the only thing new on it he bought was some swingarm bearings,a arm bearings, and maybe seat cover, and back tires. he is asking $2250.00 which i think is kind of high for it anyways. because there is a 94 banshee im going to check for $2900.00 that is suppose to have a +6 axle, aftermarket front end,and a pro circuit motor with only 10 hours for $2900.00--but usually when its to good to be true it is...

I'd check out the Shee first, if thats junk, then go look at the LT, and depending on the condition, try and drop him down to $1900 or something.
