I just took the plunge and bought a new Eiger 4x4 Automatic. I was originally considering Kodiak, (2003) Prairie 360, and Polaris Magnum. After a ton of research, I decided that the Eiger was the best bang for the buck and at times better despite being less $$. Thanks to all who post the reviews for the newbies like me... the info is priceless!

Any advice for a newbie?

 

You will be very happy, We traded our 02 kodiak for a eiger. Smoother ride, much more powerful, and better front differential.

 

That makes me feel great! I was so close to going with the Kodiak... I think its a great machine but for the money (and they didn't have my choice of colors), the eiger made more sense.

I'm getting a little concerned, the dealer was supposed to call to confirm pick-up tommottow and there dragging their feet.

 

A friend who i ride with quite often has a 2002 eiger...i've rode it a few times and it's a great bike...he loves it, and has had zero problems with it so far after about 120 hours.
