14mins, as for the HP of my LT500, I am gonna say a conservative 75 HP. We were at Little Sahara, OK on Saturday and I was not beaten by another quad while drag racing! There were plenty of 250R's, Banshee's with extended swingarm's, pipes, coolhead, portwork, etc. None of them could hang. The coolest part of the day was riding in the trails (myself and Truckracer with his Zilla) and NONE of those radical Banshee's or 250R's were to be seen. My bike has extensive work, yet still only has a 41mm carb, .040 over, and runs on 93 octane perfectly. With a 44mm carb, drag pipe (not very trail friendly) and some high octane juice, it would REALLY fly. I actually prefer the older quad's to the newer quads, simply because everyone and their dog doesn't have one. See ya.

KBL, if you like that LT250, buy it.
They are not exactly dogs.......
My bro has an 86 LT250 and I just love the way it feels and rides.
It feels SO SO lightweight. Naturally it does not have the power
of my Zilla, though... but it does have plenty!

Unless you like to cut and weld, It is a difficult swap. I am sure some people just slap them in. Go to the project section on this web site. Then look up lt500 in 250 chassis. I explained almost everything you need to do.

Its kinda like comparing a 60's or 70's big-block powered muscle car to a new "sports" car. That's how I see it.

If I could find a zilla and had the cash on me, IT WOULD BE MINE, they are sweet. Prolly feels 3 times lighter then a ds and 2 times lighter then a raptor and stock it is faster then both, I do believe! correct me if i am wrong...
