I just got my new Z400 today. It is the first new quad I have ever bought. I have and have had many used ones. How is the best way to break it in. I am going to SandLake,OR on Thursday for the weekend and want to break it in right.

Very RPM's and don't gun the thing wide open for any extended period for the first 2 tank fulls.
I would also run it up to full operating temperature and let it cool a couple times. Seems to me this is always a good process for metals. I woundn't ride it hard for 8 hours and put it away is what I'm saying.
