Wait until you have ran about atank of gas through it and the engine will start to knock. Don't worry about it everyone says theirs does it also. When the clutch is pulled in its not as bad

The engine doesn't "knock." Suzuki's clutch assembly typically runs loose once its fully broken-in. My daughter's doesn't make the 'extra' noise yet, and she has 15 hours on hers.

Well, all the Zs I have heard have a slight knock in the gearbox at idle. It most likely the clutch but it's still a " KNOCK ".

Just take it easy on her and be carefull, their peppy. After your done cleaning her form the first ride, "seriously" check every bolt\screw you can get a wrench on, you'll find a few loose fasteners.

Thank your parents again for that awesome quad! And "be carefull", don't make them regret it. I saw a guy last weekend with a brannew Z. He fliped it in the yard the first day, and fliped it 4 times the next day, it looked like crap, plastic totally trashed, rear grab bar folded up over the seat, handlebars were history.

ENJOY

Later...

Check the spark plug gap before you ride.
