My dealer tells me that the synthetic is bad for the new zukis because of the "space-age" coating on the cylinder walls. WTF. I'd like to use Amsoil but he says not good. Anyone else hear this from their dealer??

If it is space age then the space shuttle and jets better stop running the synthetic oil. Those are the reasons why synthetic oil was created because the dino oil can't perform the needs that they needed for the jets and rockets!!!!

it doesnt smoke because it doesnt burn hot enough to make the oil smoke or burn. in conclusion, if it doesnt smoke, then you will not know if you have bad rings, or gaskets, etc.

The best Synthetic Oil today is by Royal Purple, alittle more that Mobil 1, but its beats everything on the market today, even amsoil. I run the 15W40 for the summer months.
