Relocation ignition and warning lights

Anyone who has relocated the ignition and warning lights could you please show me some pictures and or let me know how you did it. I don't like the look of the placement, not to mention that I plan on putting renthals on there and I don't think that the mount would fit with those bars on.

Thanks for any help.

I put the lights on the upper section of the nose piece and the ignition switch on the left of the gas cap. Look at my pics and you can sort of see them.

i just got the trail tech x bars with mount it has a place for the warning lights and key any fatty bar will work with the mount p.s looks way cool

WP thanks, I can kinda see the set up you have going. How did you re-route all the wiring. Was it time consuming?

Adrenjnky-I saw that trailtech x-bar clamp. It looks pretty sweet. Funny thing, is they want $80 for it seperately and something like $120 for clamp and Bars. Pretty good marketing sceem, but it sucks if you don't want their bars.

wow i paid 100 for the whole thing at the local susuki dealer while i was picking up my drz400kick head and base gasket for my z i just seen it there so i bought it up i thought it was a good price maybe they messed up[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] uhh well

The wiring is long enough to work. I just measured the lights and used a drill bit for the holes. I used a drill bit for the switch also and added a little notch for it to line up with. Only takes about an hour. The most time is spent marking out and using the right size drill bit.
