Where can I get a big bore kit for the z400? I want to put the motor to its full potential and see what she will do. Let me know where I can get one and what the price is.

Don't know the price, but Trinity Racing has done one on mine and it kicks as$. Check out my link for dynos on the motor.

 

Is it better than Yoshimura 450 kit?

 

Check out the latest issue of Dirt Wheels. They have an article on a Z-500 built by FST. They came away very impressed with the powerplant. The cost was roughly $1500 without a pipe I believe.

 

I have the dirtwheels. I was just wondering if there was a cheaper one. Let me know.

The Z-500 built by FST do you have a link to that, whats the HP and what month of Dirt Wheels is it?

 

Try GT Thunder and talk to Laz. He's very knowledgeable and has a few cool kits that will wake up the Z. His exhaust, cams, piston, port work, and bigger carb added right about the same hp as yoshi's 450 kit. I'm sure his 450 kit is less expensive than Yoshi's. 330-674-2472

Whats the HP of the 465 kit from trinity and does anyone know if their will be a 500 kit if so who will make it and whats the HP?

 

There is not a 465 kit, only a 440 which is 434cc's. Look at my dynos. It is producing 45hp with stock cams and ignition. We plan to reach the 50+ mark as soon as Web provides us with the cams.
