hello all...has everyone else surcome to the bad design of the rear drive shaft bearing blowing out and causing your rear-end to grenade....everyone around here has had them blow arounf 1000km...I made it to 3000km by changing the oil every month and using synthetic gear oil..I brought it back to the dealer and they are repairing it for free..Suzuki has admitted to a problem and are going to cover it for as long as you own the bike or they come-up with a way to fix the problem (at least in Canada)...just thought I would let everyone know...

I have a 2000, so hopefully they have eliminated the problem.

they added a cir clip and strenghthend the bearing housing on the 2000`s...they think this will work but they changed some frame work and a few other things so they cant just swap rear-ends...other than that they are a good bike..so far
