What size tire for ice?
#1
I will most likely be buying some new rear tires and rims for this winter. I will be riding on ice and will probably do some ice dragging with it. I will be putting screws in my tires. I already know what kind of tire to get I just don't know what size works the best. A smaller lighter tire like (18x9.5-8) that will take less screws or a little bigger wider tire (20x11-9) that will take more screws. any ideas?
also with the 18x9.5-8 tires how high will my skid plate be off the ground on my quadracer? Right now I have 22x12-10 realitors.

well like you say the 20inch tires are heavier but it you also need to get the gearing right so you might want to use the 20s so that your geared higher just experiment see which is better i'll be using 18 but i don't have the power you do so ya good luck
